# Accessing a Gated Drop

In order to collect from a gated drop, you must own the asset listed in the note on drop page:

If the digital asset is a DYLI asset, we will automatically check your account to confirm ownership. If it is a different digital asset, we will search all wallets that you have connected to your account. Learn how to connect external wallets here:

If you own the required asset, then you will experience a typical purchase experience. If you do not, you will be notified via a popup that you do not have the correct asset to continue.
