# Logo Placement Guide

Have an amazing design in mind, but not sure where it’ll look best on a t-shirt? This overview will walk you through popular t-shirt design placements, how to position your logo, and which placement works best for text or artwork.

## 1. Front Placements

Front placements are classics—perfect for showcasing a single design or branding front-and-center.

#### Center Chest

* **Go-To Spot:** Highly visible, works well for smaller designs or quotes.
* **Embroidery Tip:** Stick to around 4" x 4" for neat stitching.

#### Left Chest

* **Timeless & Subtle:** Great for logos, small symbols, and minimal text.
* **Why It Works:** Branded tees with a left chest logo look polished and professional.

#### Full Front

* **Bigger Space:** Ideal for bold artwork or detailed designs.
* **Keep in Mind:** Actual printable area varies depending on shirt size and print method.

## 2. Back Placements

Putting your main design on the back can be less “in-your-face” than a front placement, while still offering high visibility.

#### Back Outside Label

* **Small Yet Impactful:** Perfect for logos or quick branding.
* **Pro Move:** Combine with a front or sleeve design for a cohesive look.

#### Full Back

* **Go Large:** Show off artwork or big lettering across most of the back.
* **Why It’s Popular:** Especially common for team jerseys or event shirts.

***

## 3. Sleeve Placement

* **Stand Out from the Crowd:** A smaller spot with big impact—ideal for subtle branding.
* **Pair It Up:** Combine a main front or back design with a tiny logo or text on the sleeve.

***

## 4. Seam-to-Seam (All-Over Print)

* **Fully Customizable:** Print across the entire surface for a unique pattern or photo-realistic design.
* **Design Considerations:** Watch for seams and collars so important elements don’t get cut off.

***

## 5. Inside Labels

* **Brand Loyalty:** Adding your logo or brand name inside the collar helps reinforce brand recognition.
* **Keep It Simple:** Make sure text is legible (font size of 10pt or larger) and meets any legal requirements (fabric content, size, etc.).

***

## Choosing the Best Placement for Your Design

* **Logos:** Small areas like left chest, sleeve, or outside/inside labels keep branding subtle yet visible.
* **Artwork:** Larger designs shine on the center chest, full front, or full back.
* **Text-Based:** Quotes or slogans look best on center or full-front placements for easy readability.
